It was early September when Jonathan Sorrell told me that, as an executive search firm, Sainty,Hird & Partners would not be able to join the 100 Black Interns programme as he kindly pointed out: “you’re not an investment manager”. "But", he went on, “how many black headhunters do you know? I only know Michael (Barrington-Hibbert– a co-founder of 10000 Black Interns); that’s about it”. And in the silence that followed, it was clear what needed to be done.
The extent to which the financial services (or indeed any) industry, post COVID 19, will or will not 'return to normal' remains unclear. By way of a small step on the road to clarity, we undertook a survey designed to identify individuals' desire for and/or expectation of change in working practices hereafter.
