On the back of a successful 2022, Sainty Hird & Partners has made a series of strategic appointments, notably across its Sales, Trading and Research practice, as well a key functional hire to support the continued expansion of its service and practice offerings.
These appointments include:
Joshua Jones – Associate Consultant, Sales Trading & Research. Josh sits within the Equities team, and focuses on Sales and Trading across Cash Equities, Electronic Markets, Listed Derivatives, Synthetic/Delta 1 and Prime Broking.
He joins from the Equities practice of a boutique executive search firm and has experience working with a variety of clients encompassing investment banks, trading platforms, buy-side institutions and exchanges across Europe, the US and Asia.
Josh graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Warwick.
Barney Loader – Consultant, Sales Trading & Research. Barney is responsible for expanding the Equity Derivatives and Cross Asset QIS business with a select number of sell-side and buy-side institutions across EMEA and North America.
Prior to this he spent six years at a boutique executive search firm, where he built the Equity Derivatives & QIS franchise, placing mid-senior level individuals into front office sales, structuring and trading positions.
Barney graduated from Oxford Brookes University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
Megan Raslan – Director of Marketing & Communications. Megan is responsible for overseeing the firm’s marketing strategy and communication activities. She also supports on select search mandates.
Prior to joining in 2023, she held marketing roles at a strategy and search firm for tech start-ups, scale-ups and investors, multinational recruiter Hays, as well as agency-side – where she worked with clients including Lego, Travelport, Diversey and Rubbermaid (now Newell Brands).
She graduated from SOAS, University of London, with a Bachelor’s degree in History with South East Asian Studies.

They join other recent hires Rebecca Maimon and Georgina Sage, who both joined the firm in Q3 & Q4 2022:
Rebecca Maimon – Associate, Asset & Wealth Management. Rebecca sits within Sainty Hird’s Asset & Wealth Management practice. She previously worked for a financial recruitment consultancy where she specialised in Quantitative Analytics and Market Risk Recruitment. Prior to this she was a paralegaland trainee caseworker for an immigration law firm. Rebecca graduated from King’s College London with an LLB Law degree in Politics, Philosophy and Law. She is a qualified civil and commercial mediator.
Georgina Sage – Associate, Capital Markets & Professional Services. Georgina works alongside Sainty Hird’s Capital Markets and Professional Services teams. She previously worked at a boutique executive search firm, where she made strategic hires in start-ups, scale-ups and corporates in the digital and technology space. Georgina graduated from the University of Oxford, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Theology and Religion. She went on to complete a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Law.
