Boards

Our board evaluations assess the Chair, NEDs and relevant members of the executive team against shareholder and stakeholder expectations and strategic business priorities. Using state-of-the-art data-driven measurement tools, as well as bespoke qualitative assessment, we are able to halve the time taken by a traditional board assessment.

Our evaluations take a holistic view of performance: considering individual competencies and group dynamics, reflecting on the balance struck between corporate governance and leadership, sector-specific expertise and a breadth of experience, assessing diversity metrics and temporal pertinence.

We always gain full cooperation and buy-in to our evaluation process, and present our findings separately to both the sponsorship group and full board.

Methodology & deliverables

We follow a proven methodology to evaluate executive teams and boards:

  • We validate individuals through detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis, psychometric assessments – including Hogan and Gallup assessments – and comprehensive industry benchmarking.
  • We then assess your executive team or board collectively: both absolutely & relative to evolving strategic aims and performance expectations.
  • Finally, we analyse their individual and collective ability to adapt against changing business strategy and future challenges, and provide in-depth, corresponding recommendations and a comprehensive roadmap for future success.

The results of our evaluations are relevant, timely and delivered across a variety of comprehensive yet accessible formats – including interactive tools, graphics, written analysis and recommendations.
